To be honest I looked at it from the dial up and got fed up waiting for the 122K logo to load - after all the buttons at the bottom.

A dial up user would bail before that if just having a browse around.

Im on broadband and noticed the logo taking ages but thought it was my connection crawling for a few seconds (ntl) - obviously not.
A few lessons in image reducing might be in order.

efctom maybe pop along to http://www.gifworks.com or use irfanview (or similar) graphic viewer (editor) and reduce some of the images.

I reduced it to 16 colours (gif) and it dropped to 6.17kb - that's nearly a quarter drop in image size with no loss of quality.

that's probably because the image is stored on your hdd -- locally.

clear out your cache any have another go

Bearing in mind the forum name, domain and the conversations required for such a forum - who do you think they should aim their marketing to? Also what advertising campaign could you use?

About the only serious places are the two graphics rooms. GFX League and regualr graphics room.

Anyone can enter the graphics league, at anytime. So it'd be cool if some of you guys could come along. Give it a go. Show me something or two! :)
