I've been trying to create a sign up form for my site, and have tried loads of different perl, and cgi scripts, but for the cgi or perl illiterate, they make absolutley no sense at all.

Does anyone know of any free form handlers, that are easy to set up, even for cgi-idiots like myself, and preferabley are ad-free?

do you use a wysiwyg editor for your normal html pages? Reason I ask is because you create a html page first with the form fields - the script just checks it and posts it via server to your address (you choose).

as a rule the 500 error means you have to right click the .cgi file on your server and chmod it to 755 and the .cgi file *has* to be in your cgi-bin folder on your server.

No probs encoderz :) I just used bravenet, and did a fairly good job on getting rid of the ads :)
I just need to stick my status bar script on, and you won't even be able to see their URL :D

Thanks anyways.. you said you'd already made a script? If you have, it'd be great if you could send me it: chris@tiikoni.com
